Old aerial from Google Map. Those areas are paved now.

The event was a great success even with a few technical glitchs early on, we managed 6 runs each by 4:30 PM. Here are some pictures of the event:

Here's a video of one of my runs: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/T...e-8_165286.htm

They shouldn't have used that small hairpin on the top left - too micky mouse.

I hear ya...it was very annoying going lock to lock. But when Dale has his mind made up, then you're just wasting your breath trying to change it.

Autocross is OK if there's nothing else to do and it's a day out with the car but really these cars are better suited to race tracks.

I think autocross is harder on the car than tracking it - a least it was on mine so that's one of the reasons why I don't do it anymore.

I see Doug got a bit of a workout in the heat at Shannonville..lol

Yeah, but I heard you liked jumping curbs with it so that might be the reason.

I'm seriously thinking of selling my car and getting a dedicated track car. If I could find someone that wanted to trade for a decent equipped Player's car, I'd probably do it. Show & shines are nice sometimes, and so is cruising, but I like going fast more. Man...I sound like Ricky Bobby..lol

Yeah, most of the Player's cars that come up for a reasonable price are beat though.

It wasn't the curb saga so much as the realization that the car I was abusing in a parking lot was the same one that I'd be driving around MIR a few days later pretty much as fast as the thing would go - no point in tempting fate and having something break at 140 mph - closed casket job for sure..lol

Well I know someone that's selling his 91 Player's car for $10k (and dropping), and it's not abused with only 96k kms, but he's not looking for a trade because he's downsizing his fleet. By the time I sell mine, his would probably be sold.

I've been thinking about gutting mine and making it into a track car.

The way this street racing law is going our cars are just targets for the revenue collectors.

My thought exactly....not to mention if I cage the car, get in a wreck on the street, the insurance would probably not pay me because there's a cage in it that wasn't there when I got it appraised.

Yeah, this province really blows. There are fuckers here who would be OK with loading people into railway cars and sending them off to work camps based on displaying an "intention" to exceed the speed limit but when some hoodrat walks up and pops someone for no reason at all it's how did Canada fail him
